Solutions and services for the creation, management and review of Interactive Electronic Technical Documentation (IETD). Support is also provided for Multi-channel publishing for different IETP-applications, PDF-books, etc.

Historically, most classes of technical documentation lacked universal conformity (standards) for format, content and structure. Standards are being developed to redress this through bodies such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which has published standards relating to rules for the preparation of user guides, manuals, product specifications, etc for technical product documentation. These standards are covered by ICS 01.110. Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETPs) are technical manuals (such as maintenance, training, user or operations manuals) usually authored in XML or SGML and designed with an interactive user interface and illustrations. The IETP´s used at HICO are XML specifications that are meant for preparing, managing and publishing technical information for a product. Originally, it was developed by the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) for use with military aircraft.
