HICO DaSy™
The HICO iPS.Suite®, the one-stop solution for Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Integrated Life Cycle Support (ILS), is designed as an Integration Platform.
Defined processes and functions are provided as an Application Programming Interface (API). Based on this API, integration projects can be easily implemented on a maintained HICO software product.
All products in the HICO-Product Portfolio have a variety of import and export processes for the regulated exchange of data as standard.
With the API “HICO:ServiceLibrary”, which is offered with the HICO DaSy™-portfolio as a separate product, advanced integration scenarios can be realized.
From a technological point of view, the “HICO:ServiceLibrary” is a REST interface.
The Web Service Description Language (WSDL) is an XML-based interface description language that is used for describing the functionality offered by a web service.
A WSDL description of a web service provides a machine-readable description of how the service can be called, what parameters it expects, and what data structures it returns. It thus serves a purpose that corresponds roughly to that of a method signature in a programming language.
After licensing the HICO:ServiceLibrary, the use of the API and its documentation is permitted for the company that licensed the API. The distribution of software that is based on this API is not permitted for the customer.
